Self-adhesive EPDM / bitumen hybrid
RESITRIX®
Two-layer EPDM with reinforcement and a polymer-modified bitumen layer in the base. Resitrix is available in 4 variants — SK (full or partial bonding), CL (mechanical fastening) and MB (mechanical fastening), with primers and cuffs.
About the system
RESITRIX® is a hybrid membrane: high-grade EPDM bonded to a polymer-modified bitumen backing with a glass-fleece reinforcement. It combines the ageing resistance of EPDM with the easy, secure processing of bitumen — cold self-adhesive (SK), hot-air weldable (CL) or mechanically fastened (MB), plus primers, cuffs and expansion joints.
Key benefits
- Hybrid build-up: EPDM top layer with bitumen backing — bonds to almost every substrate, including existing bitumen roofs.
- Homogeneous hot-air welded seams — no open flame, fully monitorable and permanently watertight.
- Projected service life of more than 70 years confirmed by SKZ, with high retained tensile strength.
